Domestic violence knows no boundaries. It does not respect educational accomplishments, financial status, race or religion. No matter the location the devastating and lasting effects impact everyone.

Preciouslyfe was started with the vision of a survivor of domestic violence.  Seeing the hurt of domestic voilence in the faces of other Christians yet hearing no one in the Christian community talking about prompted the start of PLM. In 2002,  along with other caring Christians who also saw the need to provide support, life skills and career training, Preciouslyfe Ministries, Inc. was formed.

Preciouslyfe Ministries, Inc. (PLM) understands the isolation and dependency that are characteristics of an abuser. These powerful elements are often part of the reluctance to leave an abuser and get out of an abusive relationship.

Since power and control are also key elements in abuse, survivors who may not have had the opportunity to do any budgeting, banking or home management may find these responsibility overwhelming.  

PLM identifies these challenges and offer full confidential assistance with anything from learning how to open a bank account to interviewing preparation. Our experience and network of community services and professionals offer drug and alcohol counseling, personal support, mentoring and a host of other services.
